Counterbalance Forklift
We have a counterbalance forklift that we offer for hire with our experienced, certified operator with delivery to site included on our hiab vehicle.
We hold a current waste carrier licence.
Berkshire Hiab Services have over 25 years experience in transportation and hiab haulage across the UK covering a wide variety of loads from industrial machinery to small aircraft and sculptures. Our workforce are skilled/certified, prompt and helpful and we pride ourselves in the provision of a highly professional and personalised service.
Based in Maidenhead
Based out of Maidenhead, Berkshire we can assist with locally originated loads as well as offering a UK wide service with regular movements through London, Oxfordshire, Surrey, Hampshire, Kent, Essex and Wiltshire. We are also happy to undertake sleepover routes including Scotland.
Safety Control Measures
We adhere fully to all safety control measures including LOLER, PUWER and we follow the current HSE guidelines. Our equipment has up to date certification including cranes and tackle. Our workforce all have safety certification and are ALLMI licensed lorry loaders and slinger/signallers.
Fully Insured
Although we have an unblemished safety record, all our operations are fully insured including public liability and goods in transit cover up to £60,000 per event.

Over 25 Years Experience
Our Fleet
We operate a modern ULEZ and DVS compliant fleet of rigid flatbed vehicles with front mounted cranes. We have a maximum lifting and carrying capacity of 10 tonnes. The vehicles are GPS tracked.
We currently offer the following vehicle type:
8 Wheelers
Our 8 wheelers can carry up to 10 tonnes and have a 7m long bed extendable to 8.8m. The 65 tonne/metre cranes can lift up to 10 tonnes and have a maximum reach of 28m. These cranes also benefit from remote operation. Vehicles are fitted with removable side rails for use if required to ensure on site safety.
